Who Are We?

Forres, Nairn & District Riding for the Disabled

Founded in 1983, we became a registered charity in December 2017. We adhere to the professional standards laid down by RDA UK, but are financially independent. The group is managed by a Board of Trustees (supported by over 40 volunteers) – all bringing a range of skills and experience.

Forres, Nairn & District Riding for the Disabled was recently awarded the prestigious Kings Award for Voluntary Service and we were honoured to receive this on a visit from our patron, Her Royal Highness the The Princess Royal.

Her Royal Highness met with some of our Sponsors before giving out rosettes to the children and presenting the award.
