Meet Our Ponies

I think everyone will agree, the children especially, that the real heroes are our ponies.

All the ponies are calm, quiet, patient and specially trained. Their docile manner and subdued affection enable their young riders to gain confidence, build relationships and improve physical abilities. Standing quietly being groomed, cuddled, talked to, and going for walks or rides build trust for both ponies and their special friends.

Whilst all display perfect manners, affection and gentleness around the children, each pony has its own lovable character and individuality. Don’t we all?  So let us introduce you to our four-legged heroes and give you a little insight into their personalities.

Beau

Beau

I’m Piebald which means I’m black and white, but I have swirls of grey as well, my name is Beau. I love snacks, chatting and more snacks.

Alfie the RDA pony

Alfie

Hello! My name is Alfie. I am a cob pony, with four white socks. I love being groomed and being out in the woods.  I like to play with Beau in the field during our “leisure hours.”

Small grey pony

Rosa

Hello, I’m Rosa. I’m a lot smaller than some of the other ponies. I have four white socks, but the rest of me is dark grey.  I like getting my ears scratched.

Skewbald Pony

Lucy

My name is Lucy and I love having my nose stroked. Chat to me in a very quiet voice and I will listen, especially if you give me compliments. I’m called a Skewbald because I am brown and white.

RDA pony Bella

Bella

Hello, I’m Bella and I just love cuddles. I’m a black pony, but I do have white socks. I like trotting, so my socks don’t stay white for very long.

Piper

Piper

I might be little but I have a great personality. My name is Piper and as you can see, I’m black with a white nose and socks.
