PONY SPONSORSHIP SCHEME

Will you help and sponsor a pony like Jim?

We are a small volunteer group of the RDA that provides therapeutic riding for 32 children every Monday morning. We are based in Moray and offer sessions to children from schools in Forres, Nairn & District. We are proud of the fact that we are the only RDA Group in the UK that makes no charge to the children. By the time we cover the hire of the ponies, suitably trained coaches plus the appropriate insurances, we are looking at nearly £700 per week. As a result, our fundraising is a continuous consideration.

Businesses

As part of our fundraising, we are now offering the opportunity for local businesses to sponsor a pony for its RDA work. We have eight carefully chosen and well-trained ponies from specialised horse trainers. The ponies range in size from 11hh to 15hh so that we can cater to children of all ages and sizes.

Individual/Private/Part Sponsorship

Why not get together with family, friends or colleagues to sponsor a pony? Hold a fundraising event at work, or, as Margaret and John did during lockdown, donate the money saved on dining out and entertainment to sponsoring Aria.
